I do not see the new firmware affecting my experience. My device is the Z9X with the v6.1.05 firmware. MP really start to shine when you can build your own Playlists however it "HAS TO" successfully scan the source first. Hopefully my experiences detailed below can help you to tackle Your Collection and allow you to experience your music with your AV setup.
